Shylah produces forensic immigration evaluations that meet the standards attorneys and adjudicators expect. She understands the clinical and legal context this work sits inside, and the weight a thorough, well-documented report carries when the stakes are this high. Attorney FAQ

How is the report delivered?

Through the SimplePractice HIPAA-secure client portal. Both you and your client receive access. No email attachments, no insecure transmission.

When will my client's report be delivered?

Delivery matches the tier selected: Standard 15 business days, Expedited 10, Urgent 5. The clock starts once clinical interviews and required documentation are complete. Interviews are scheduled over two or more sessions and depend on client availability. Corrections requested during review extend the delivery date.

How long is the report?

Typically 20+ pages. Includes a summary section that directly addresses the legal question specific to your case, written in language appropriate for immigration authorities.

Do you work with non-English-speaking clients?

Yes. Sessions are conducted in the language of your client's choice. Interpretation services are available for an additional fee.

Do you evaluate children?

Yes. We provide immigration evaluations for children and adolescents, including specialized training in the evaluation of unaccompanied minors.

Do you see clients in ICE detention?

No. We only work with clients who are out of detention.

What if my client needs ongoing therapy after the evaluation?

In most cases the evaluator does not also serve as the treating clinician, to keep forensic and clinical roles distinct. If ongoing therapy is appropriate, we can match your client with another clinician on our team. Meet our flock.

How do edits work after the report is delivered?

If you or your client need changes after approval, we can make them. Edits requested within 1-2 weeks after final delivery are $300.

What records or documents should we send?

We review supporting documents you provide and incorporate relevant clinical and collateral information into the evaluation. We will let you know if anything additional would strengthen the report.
