Immigration Psychological Evaluations for Attorneys
You need evaluations done right, done on time, and done by someone who understands what you are building. That is what we do.
Ala Therapy Collective conducts psychological evaluations for immigration cases. We work with attorneys across Oklahoma and multiple states and understand that your clients are often navigating the most stressful and high stakes situations of their lives. We take that seriously and we treat your clients accordingly.
We are not a high volume mill that cranks out cookie cutter reports. We are a clinical practice that does this work carefully and produces evaluations that are thorough, well-written, and formatted in a way that is useful to you and appropriate for submission.
Hardship Waiver Evaluations. We assess the psychological impact of separation or potential deportation on qualifying U.S. relatives and produce reports that document extreme hardship in clinical terms.
VAWA Evaluations. We work with survivors of abuse with a trauma-informed approach and produce reports that document the psychological impact of the abuse for VAWA petitions.
Evaluations We Conduct
T-Visa Evaluations. We work with survivors of human trafficking with the care and clinical skill this population requires and produce reports appropriate for T-Visa petitions.
Who Conducts the Evaluations
Shylah Ridgway, LCSW/LICSW, is our primary immigration evaluator. She is licensed in Oklahoma, California, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Texas, and Utah. She has experience producing evaluations that meet the standards attorneys and adjudicators expect and understands both the clinical and legal context of this work.
Demetria Bonds, LMSW, also works in our immigration evaluation practice and collaborates with Shylah on cases.
Immigration evaluation work is a growing area of our practice and we are intentionally building our team's capacity in this space.
