These are the smaller and regional plans that therapist directories leave out and that a lot of practices have never bothered to credential with. If you have spent an afternoon getting told no, this is the page that says yes.
Mending, formerly Taro Health
A Marketplace plan built around direct primary care, sold in Oklahoma since 2023. If you bought a Mending plan on HealthCare.gov or through a broker, your therapy with us is in network.
Mending has announced it will stop selling individual and small group plans in Oklahoma after December 31, 2026. Your coverage with us works normally through the end of this year, and when you pick a new plan we will help you check it against our list.
Healthcare Highways, HCH Plus and HCH Sync
A regional network usually offered through an employer, common with Oklahoma companies that build their own health plans. HCH Plus is the broad Oklahoma network. HCH Sync is the smaller high performance network.
We are in network with HCH Plus and HCH Sync. If your card says HCH Logix, we are not in network with that one, but send it anyway and we will check your out of network benefits.
Medica
A nonprofit health plan that sells individual and family plans on the Oklahoma Marketplace and covers some employer groups here. If your card says Medica, your sessions are in network.
Medica Harmony plans are included.
Dean Health Plan by Medica
Dean is part of the Medica family. If your insurance card reads Dean Health Plan, we are in network and bill your plan directly, same as Medica.

Plan Administrators
A plan administrator is the company that processes your claims, not the insurance company itself. It is the name printed on the back of your card next to "claims administered by," and it is the part most people never look at.

What You Will Pay
Your cost comes from your plan,
not from the size of the logo.
On most of these plans, therapy falls under outpatient mental health, which usually means a flat co-pay per session or coinsurance after your deductible. Marketplace plans often set mental health visits at the same cost as a primary care visit, and some Mending plans cover them with no co-pay at all.
We do not guess at that number. Jessie verifies it with your plan before your first session and tells you plainly what you will owe.
- Most of these plans do not require a referral for therapy, and we confirm yours during verification
- Deductible, co-pay, and out of pocket max checked before you book
- Telehealth and in person sessions bill at the same benefit
- Self-pay and sliding scale available if the numbers do not work
Insurance benefit quotes are estimates from your insurance provider and are not a guarantee of coverage. Final responsibility for payment depends on how your insurance processes the actual claim for each date of service. We do not accept Medicaid or SoonerCare.

We verify your benefits
Jessie checks your mental health coverage, your deductible status, and your co-pay or coinsurance, then tells you plainly what a session will cost.
You get matched and scheduled
Pick your clinician or let us pick, choose office, trail, or screen, and book. Your first session is usually a free consultation to make sure it is a fit.

Which regional and local insurance plans do you accept in Oklahoma?
Mending, formerly Taro Health. Healthcare Highways on the HCH Plus and HCH Sync networks. Medica. Dean Health Plan by Medica. We also bill plans administered by WebTPA, 90 Degree Benefits, and Boon-Chapman. If your plan is not on that list, it is probably on the main insurance page, and if it is not there either, send it anyway and we will check.
My card says HCH. Is that Healthcare Highways, and am I in network?
Yes, HCH is Healthcare Highways. Look for the network name on the card. HCH Plus and HCH Sync are in network with us. HCH Logix is not. If you cannot tell which one you have, send us a photo of the front and back and Jessie sorts it out.
Does therapy cost more on a regional plan than on a big name plan?
Not because of the plan size. Your cost is set by your plan design, usually a co-pay or coinsurance after a deductible, and that is true whether the logo on your card is Aetna or Mending. What changes is how often people get told no by other practices. Here you are in network, we verify the exact number before your first session, and you can compare it against self-pay if you want to.
I have Mending. What happens when the plan ends?
Mending has said it will stop offering individual and small group plans in Oklahoma after December 31, 2026. Your coverage with us works normally through the end of this year. When you pick a new plan during open enrollment, check it against our insurance page or just tell us what you chose. Most of the plans on the Oklahoma Marketplace are ones we already take, so switching plans does not have to mean switching therapists.
Can I see someone in person on these plans, or is it online only?
Both. Kenzie Langford and Demetria Bonds see clients in person at the Oklahoma City office and online. Taylor Hendricks meets clients outdoors around the Tulsa metro through Neurodivergent IRL and online. Madison Johnson and Michi Medley are online across Oklahoma. Your plan pays the same way in every format.
Do you take Medicaid or SoonerCare?
No. We do not bill Medicaid or SoonerCare on any plan. If that is your coverage, self-pay and sliding scale are on the insurance page, and we are glad to point you toward practices that do take it.
