I offer individual therapy & EMDR for teens and young adults. My therapy process is flexible, holding space for what you need in the moment- from celebrating wins and meeting personal goals to processing triggers and past traumas. We may laugh one moment and cry the next, and that's okay.
Being a teen or young adult can be exhausting. Just because you’re young, it doesn’t mean you don’t have real struggles, like loneliness, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, or even hopelessness about what’s next in your life.
If you’re navigating any of these challenges or feel overwhelmed by the transition into adulthood, I’ve got your back.
I’m here to actually listen to you and understand what you’re going through, from the major life events – both good and bad – to the “small” stuff, like how your day went.
You deserve to be heard and treated with respect, no matter how old you are.
My therapy process is flexible, holding space for what you need in the moment – from celebrating life wins and meeting personal goals to processing triggers and past traumas.
Right now, you might be experiencing a tough time in your life, but I trust that you know your true, authentic self better than anyone else.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming! That’s why it’s my passion and my mission to make each and every client feel as safe, comfortable, and valued as possible.
I’d be honored to be there for you as you take this big step toward the life you’re dreaming about.
Why People Reach Out
What Brings People To Me
Most people don't reach out because everything is going great. A lot of the teens, young adults, and women I work with are carrying something heavy that they have been handling on their own for a long time. You might find yourself here because:
- Anxiety is making it hard to relax, focus, or enjoy your life
- Depression has left you feeling stuck, disconnected, or worn out
- You're carrying experiences that still affect you long after they happened
- Relationships feel complicated, confusing, or draining
- You keep people-pleasing and feeling responsible for everyone else's emotions
- Your self-worth is in the gutter and you never feel like enough
- You're grieving a loss and aren't sure how to move forward
- You're in a major life transition and feel completely overwhelmed
- You feel lonely, even when you're surrounded by people
Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out by yourself.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR Therapy with Kenzie
Trauma doesn't always stay in the past. Sometimes it shows up as anxiety that doesn't make sense, big emotional reactions, panic, people-pleasing, trouble trusting people, or feeling stuck in patterns you can't seem to break.
EMDR, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, helps the brain work through experiences that feel stuck or unresolved. It can help with:
- PTSD and trauma
- Childhood experiences that still affect you today
- Religious and spiritual trauma
- Anxiety and panic
- Negative beliefs you hold about yourself
- Grief and loss
- Distressing memories that feel impossible to move past
I'm trained in EMDR through the EMDR Institute, and I work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. EMDR isn't about forcing yourself to relive the worst moments. It's about helping your brain hold them differently so they no longer run your life. You can do EMDR with me through secure telehealth. You can also learn more about EMDR therapy here.
For Younger Clients
Therapy for Teens and Preteens
Being a teenager right now comes with a lot. School pressure, social media, friendships, family dynamics, figuring out who you are, and everyone's expectations can pile up fast. I work with preteens and teens on:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Self-esteem
- Social struggles
- Family conflict
- Stress and burnout
- Identity
- Life transitions
- Grief and loss
My goal is a space where young people feel respected and understood while they build the confidence and skills to move forward. You can read more about therapy for teens.
For Women & College Students
Therapy for Women and College Students
A lot of the people I work with are teens and young women figuring out who they are while everything is changing at once. You might be in college or fresh out of it, juggling classes, work, relationships, family expectations, and the pressure to already have it all figured out. That is a lot to carry.
You might find yourself anxious most of the time, worn out from people-pleasing, hard on yourself no matter what you accomplish, unsure who you are outside of everyone else's expectations, or carrying things from your past that still follow you. Therapy can be a space that belongs entirely to you. Together we'll sort through what's keeping you stuck, build your sense of self, and move toward the life you actually want. You can read more about therapy for women.

- You like a mix of support, honesty, and practical tools
- You want a space where you can laugh, cry, vent, celebrate, or just show up exactly as you are
- You're ready to understand yourself more deeply
- You want therapy that feels collaborative, not clinical
- You're looking for an EMDR therapist who will move at a pace that feels right for you
- You want to feel heard instead of judged or talked down to
A Little Outside the Room
When I'm Not in Session
Outside of session, I am almost always making something. Crocheting, baking, candle making, and whatever new craft I have talked myself into trying lately. Working with my hands reminds me to slow down and to let something be imperfect and still good, which is a lot of what I hope to offer in here too: permission to be a beginner, to make a mess, and to actually enjoy the process instead of chasing perfect.
