No. Ambetter of Oklahoma's Premier plans don't require a referral to see a specialist at all, and Ambetter excludes mental health from referral requirements on every plan that does. Come straight to us.

It depends on your metal level. Bronze plans carry the highest deductibles, and if the deductible applies to therapy you pay the contracted session rate until it's met. Silver and Gold plans carry lower deductibles and lower per-session costs, and a Silver plan with cost-sharing reductions is lower still. We verify your plan and put your per-session number in writing before you start.

Yes. Those are Ambetter's names for the metal levels: Essential Care is Bronze, Balanced Care is Silver, Secure Care is Gold. The 2026 Oklahoma plans are Ambetter Health Premier plans. Any of those cards works here; send it through the contact form and we verify the rest.

Every Marketplace plan comes with a Summary of Benefits and Coverage, the standardized document in your Ambetter member portal. Find the row that reads "If you need mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse services" and look at "Outpatient services." The Network Provider column is what you'd pay per session with us. A dollar amount is a copay; a percentage is coinsurance; "after deductible" means the deductible comes first. If you'd rather not decode it, send it with your member ID and we read it for you.

Deductible: what you pay before the plan starts paying, if your plan applies it to therapy. Copay: a flat amount per session. Coinsurance: a percentage of the contracted session rate instead of a flat amount. Out-of-pocket maximum: the ceiling on what you pay in a plan year; once you hit it, covered care is paid in full by the plan. We tell you which of these your plan uses and where you stand on each before your first session.

If you get a premium tax credit and fall behind on your premium, federal rules give you a three-month grace period before coverage ends. Ambetter pays claims from the first month, but claims from months two and three can be held until you catch up, and if you don't, those sessions come back to you. We check that your premium is current when we verify, and it's worth keeping it current for this reason.

Ambetter of Oklahoma sells 2026 plans in 43 of the state's 77 counties; the coverage map on Ambetter's site lists them. Marketplace plans are sold on healthcare.gov during open enrollment, and outside it if a life change qualifies you for a special enrollment period. Once you have a card, send it over and we take it from there.

Same parent company, different plans. Ambetter of Oklahoma is the Marketplace plan you buy on healthcare.gov. Oklahoma Complete Health SoonerSelect is Medicaid. Ala Therapy Collective is in network with Ambetter Marketplace plans and does not bill Medicaid, including SoonerSelect. If you have the Medicaid version, reach out anyway and we'll point you toward in-network options.

Not quite. Ambetter also sells off-exchange plans in Oklahoma called Ambetter Health Solutions, including through employer ICHRA arrangements. We verify the network on any Ambetter card, Marketplace or not, before your first session.
