Why we are here
Small voices, deep roots.
Kids do not always have the words for what is going on inside. Sitting on a couch and talking it out can feel strange, or scary, or just plain boring. So we do it differently.
Wren & Clover is a space built for kids and teens, where they can show us how they feel in ways that come naturally to them. A wren is a tiny bird with a very big voice. We think your kid has one too.
What we help with
What is in your bushel today?
Every kid carries something different. These are some of the things we help sort through.
Worry and anxiety
Stomachaches before school, trouble sleeping, and the what ifs that will not quit.
Big anger
Meltdowns, blowups, and feelings that come out bigger than the moment.
Sadness and self esteem
Depression, feeling left out, and being way too hard on themselves.
School stress
Pressure, friendships, and the days they just do not want to go.
Family changes
Divorce and separation, adoption, blended families, moves, and other transitions.
Hard things that happened
Childhood trauma and the experiences that are tough to talk about.
How it works
Therapy that fits the kid
Sessions are shaped around your child's age, personality, and what they need. A session with a five year old looks nothing like a session with a fifteen year old, and it should not.
We meet you first
We start with parents and guardians, because you know your kid best. You tell us what you are seeing at home and at school.
Your kid sets the pace
Play based activities, creative projects, conversation, and practical coping skills they can actually use.
You stay in the loop
We check in with parents and guardians along the way, and family sessions are available when they would help.
