I am Shylah Ridgway, LCSW, LICSW, and I am a Board Approved Supervisor in Oklahoma. I offer online supervision to LCSW candidates at $75 per hour.

Off Script Work
We move past rigid orthodoxy to deeply explore the challenging client work that actually makes you a better clinician. You will develop confidence and a distinct, ethical professional identity, including stronger clinical assessment and diagnosis skills and a real sense of how to engage in social justice and advocacy within your practice. I know what it takes to build a thriving career because I own and operate two businesses: Ala Therapy Collective and Halcyon Therapy.
The Essentials, Done Right
You still get everything you need for licensure. I provide the ethical grounding and foundational development required by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers, focused on advanced clinical practice, ethical standards, clinical competence, and social work methodology. I am trained in CBT, EMDR, and The Daring Way, and I bring those modalities into supervision when they are useful to your work.
My Clinical Background
My personal clinical work is focused on online individual therapy for women and LGBTQIA+ adults who have been repeatedly forced to fit themselves into places they do not belong. Through our supervisory work, I will help you develop the competency to help clients move from a feeling of inadequacy, fear, and exhaustion to being seen, heard, and empowered to embrace who they truly are.
I have deep clinical experience in these areas:
ADHD in women
Immigration psychological evaluations
Feelings of inadequacy and codependency
Strained family relationships, including parentification and estrangement
Repetitive relationship patterns rooted in early pain
Poor boundaries, emotional intensity that is not reciprocated, and difficulty coping with negative feedback

The Logistics
Supervision is provided remotely via Zoom. I am a Board Approved Supervisor in Oklahoma and also hold licensure in California, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Texas, and Utah, with expertise in multistate telehealth service delivery.
I offer one hour supervision sessions scheduled weekly on the same day and time. LCSW candidates are billed $75 per hour. Scheduling, billing, and documentation are handled through SimplePractice, a HIPAA compliant platform, and you will have 24/7 access to your portal for appointment management and invoices.
