Online Individual Therapy for Gen Z, Millenials, and Mothers in Oklahoma

Hey, I'm Katana. Yes, like the sword.

I'm a wife, a mom of two, and a therapist who genuinely gets what it feels like to be stretched so thin you can see through yourself. I understand firsthand the pressures of being a first-generation student, the challenges and joys of parenthood, and the particular exhaustion that comes from trying to be everything to everyone while quietly wondering when it's your turn.

I've been where you are. Feeling lost, overwhelmed, and like you're just barely keeping your head above water. But I've also experienced the power of healing and growth. That's exactly why I do this work.

I've worked with young people in juvenile justice, supported survivors of domestic violence, and counseled students navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives. Somewhere along the way I realized this was never just a job for me. It's a calling.

I'm an Afro-Latina woman and a millennial navigating this same chaotic world you're navigating, and I bring all of that into the room with me. If you've ever felt like the underdog, the outcast, or the one who just doesn't quite fit, you're my kind of people. I've always rooted for the ones who feel different. I always will.

Come as you are. I specialize in therapy for women, including young adults, moms, and those navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and perinatal mental health. I'm currently training as a postpartum doula because I believe the support around birth and early parenthood should be so much better than what most people get.

My ideal clients are the women navigating unique and complex life experiences. The ones stealing time for themselves at 11pm because it's the only quiet moment in the day. The new moms who love their babies fiercely and also feel like they've completely lost themselves. The young women who are doing everything right and still feel lost.

I offer empathy, compassion, and open-mindedness to support your journey. Because healing is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.

I offer virtual sessions across Oklahoma so wherever you are, I can meet you there.

A little more about me:

I'm originally from Washington state and now call northern Oklahoma home. Outside of work you can find me baking something that may or may not turn out the way I planned, diving deep into a true crime documentary, or getting completely lost in a psychological thriller. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is my favorite Disney movie and I will die on that hill. Esmeralda was out here fighting for justice before it was cool.

I'm an introvert who found her voice through this work, and I have a lot of compassion for the quiet ones who haven't found theirs yet. If you're nervous about starting therapy, that makes complete sense. We'll go at whatever pace feels right for you.

Together, we can develop practical tools and strategies to manage your stress, and create a life you love!
