What It Costs
Depends on your plan. We figure it out before you start.
Aetna plans vary widely. Some clients pay nothing per session; others have a copay or a deductible to clear first. We verify your specific plan and write you the actual numbers before you book a first session, so nothing comes as a surprise.
What we check:
- Outpatient therapy and telehealth coverage
- Deductible remaining
- Copay or coinsurance per session
- Referral requirements, if any
Common Questions
Aetna therapy in Massachusetts, asked and answered.
Is Kenzie actually in-network with Aetna in MA?
Yes. Kenzie is credentialed with Aetna in Massachusetts under her LICSW license. Send us your card, we run benefits, you start.
Does Aetna cover online therapy?
Yes. Most Aetna plans cover telehealth at the same rate as in-person sessions. Every session with Ala Therapy Collective is online.
Does Aetna cover EMDR?
Yes. EMDR is billed under standard psychotherapy codes, so it falls under your outpatient mental health benefit like any other session.
What if my Aetna plan turns out to be out-of-network?
Some Aetna plans are self-funded by employers and run on different network rules. If your specific plan isn't in our network, we'll tell you when we verify. You may still be able to use out-of-network benefits with a superbill, or use our self-pay options.
Do you take MassHealth?
No. We don't accept MassHealth or any state Medicaid product, through Aetna or otherwise.
